Bavarian-style Oktoberfest celebration at Ober Gatlinburg featuring authentic German food, craft beer, polka music, and alpine festivities at 3,500 feet. The aerial tramway ride up adds to the alpine atmosphere - the closest thing to a real German mountain Oktoberfest in the Southeast.
The aerial tramway ride up the mountain sets the mood before you even arrive. Combine with Anakeesta's Bear-Varian Festival the same weekend for a full Bavarian mountain experience.
