The Parkway transforms into a rolling car show with thousands of vehicles cruising from one end to the other.
Fall Rod Run
The area's largest automotive gathering and the crown jewel of the season. A spectacular three-day event featuring a $10,000 cash giveaway, massive swap meet, car corral, Top 25 awards, and Ultimate 5 awards. The fall foliage beginning to turn on the surrounding mountains makes this the most photogenic car show weekend of the year.
49th Annual Corvette Expo & Chevys in the Smokies
Established in 1977, the Corvette Expo is one of the longest-running Corvette shows in the country. Hundreds of Corvettes from every generation fill the LeConte Center alongside Chevys in the Smokies. Features vendors, special guests, awards, and Corvette-focused activities, all steps from dining, shopping, and mountain attractions.
Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion
Now in its 14th year, the Jeep Invasion is the premier Jeep expo in the Southeast. Hosted by the Smoky Mountain Jeep Club of Maryville, TN, the event features leading Jeep parts and accessory vendors, a Jeep show with multiple trophy categories, trail rides through the Smoky Mountains, and a community of Jeep enthusiasts from across the nation.
Smoky Mountain Big Rig Showdown
The iconic Big Rig Showdown rolls into the Smoky Mountains for a weekend of custom semi trucks, chrome, and diesel. This indoor and outdoor national truck show features the most stunning custom rigs in the country, live music, great food, and a family-friendly atmosphere that makes it one of the most unique automotive events in the region.
Bronco Super Celebration
Held on the peaceful side of the Smokies in Townsend, this celebration brings together classic first-generation Ford Broncos alongside modern Broncos for a weekend of trail rides, vendor exhibits, and mountain scenery. The backdrop of misty Smoky Mountain peaks makes this one of the most scenic car events in the region.

Book Your Cabin Early
Car show weekends are the busiest in the Smokies. The Fall Rod Run and Spring Rod Run sell out cabins months in advance. Book at least 60-90 days ahead for the best selection, especially for large group cabins.
Avoid the Parkway at Peak Hours
During Rod Run weekends, the Parkway crawls between 4 PM and 8 PM on Friday and Saturday. Use the back roads (Veterans Boulevard or Wears Valley Road) if you need to get somewhere. Or better yet, grab a chair and enjoy the show from the sidewalk.
The Best Free Viewing Spot
Park at The Island in Pigeon Forge and walk to the Parkway. You get free parking, easy access to food and restrooms, and a front-row seat to the cruise-in. The section near the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel is especially scenic at sunset.
Bring Cash for the Swap Meets
The swap meets at Rod Runs and the LeConte Center shows are legendary for deals on parts, memorabilia, and accessories. Many vendors are cash-only, and you will find things you did not know you needed.
Combine Shows with Mountain Activities

Spring or Fall Rod Run
If you love pre-1970 hot rods, street rods, and the classic cruise-in experience, the Rod Runs are your events. Thousands of cars, the Parkway cruise, swap meets, and the biggest crowds of the season.
Corvette Expo (March)
Every generation of Corvette under one roof at the LeConte Center. Vendors, special guests, and a community that has gathered here since 1977. Bring your Vette or just come to admire.
Jeep Invasion (August)
Modified Wranglers, Gladiators, and classic CJs. Trail rides through the Smoky Mountains, vendor expo, and a show field full of the most creative Jeep builds in the Southeast.
F-100 Supernationals or Classic Ford Truck Show
Two dedicated Ford truck events. The Classic Ford Truck Show (May) is the largest in the country. The F-100 Supernationals (September) is open to all Ford trucks and cars, all years.
