One of bedrooms has a full ensuite with walk-in shower & down the hallway and off the kitchen is another stand- alone bathroom with shower. Up the stairs you will find a small reading nook, the laundry room, and another beautiful master king suite with its own private deck. For those seeking a little more privacy, two of the homes’ six king bedrooms are on the lower level with exterior entry only, featuring ensuite bathrooms. This level shares a common area with microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig coffee maker, and its own private deck with seating. Just steps away on a separate covered deck you’ll find a brand-new hot tub with a sidebar and seating for two. In the evenings (or any time for that matter), all the family can gather on any of the 6 restored decks or the front patio for outdoor entertaining or to simply take in the beauty that surrounds. This is where memories will be created! Smoky Vista Retreat will feel like a home away from home and serve as the perfect gathering place for your family, business, or church retreat. For groups up to 34, you can rent the entire Tanrac Village that includes the Smoky Vista Cottage and Smoky Vista Lodge.

Bear Camp’s standard terms are strict — without Deposit Protection there is no refund and no reschedule, for any reason. Deposit Protection is added at booking, and it is what opens the cancellation window.
This cabin has four or more bedrooms, so the 4+ bedroom terms apply: cancel at least 60 days before arrival for a refund, or reschedule once if you ask at least 30 days before arrival. Inside 60 days the deposit is forfeited.
How this compares: the default terms here are stricter than a typical platform cancellation policy, so this is worth understanding before you book rather than after. What Deposit Protection adds that most strict policies elsewhere do not: a free reschedule.
You pay half when you book and the rest thirty days before check-in — the same date the reschedule window closes. Nothing is charged in between.
Deposit Protection has to be added at the time of booking. It cannot be added later, so if there is any chance your dates move, decide at checkout.
Property Protection covers accidental damage during your stay up to the tier you pick — $500, $1,000 or $2,500 of coverage.
It is not insurance for your trip; it covers the cabin. Deposit Protection, above, is the one that covers your dates.
