Eight king bedrooms — one on the main level, four upstairs, three down — plus two queen sleeper sofas and a futon, for twenty-two guests across five full baths. The view is the whole point: the deck looks straight down the valley at Gatlinburg and the ridge line behind it, with a hot tub and rockers out there and a gas grill. Inside there is a game room with a pool table and arcade cabinets, a stone fireplace, and a recreation room on the lower level. Four parking spots. Dogs are welcome — up to two, neither over 40 lb, $75 plus tax each. There is no swimming pool at this cabin; the pool is a pool table.
Great Smoky View rises above Gatlinburg like a private mountain perch made for gathering, celebrating, and taking in the kind of scenery that stops conversations mid-sentence. With sweeping, uninterrupted vistas of the Great Smoky Mountains and room for up to 22 guests, this 8-bedroom retreat is where large families, reunions, and friend groups come to share time together without ever feeling crowded.
From the moment you arrive, the mountains take center stage. Morning mist drifts through the ridgelines, afternoons stretch across endless blue horizons, and evenings fade into glowing sunsets best enjoyed from the wide, open deck. This is not just a place to stay—it’s a front-row seat to the Smokies.
Step inside and you’re welcomed into a warm, lodge-style interior designed for connection at scale. The open-concept living space brings everyone together under one roof, with plush seating arranged around a stone fireplace and a large flat-screen TV that anchors cozy movie nights or post-adventure wind-downs. Natural wood tones and mountain-inspired design carry throughout the home, creating a space that feels both grand and inviting.
The kitchen is fully equipped and built for group living—full-size appliances, generous counter space, and everything needed to prepare shared meals with ease. Just steps away, the oversized dining area becomes its own gathering place, where stories are exchanged over breakfast, dinner, and everything in between.
Entertainment is never far away. A dedicated game area featuring a pool table and arcade game keeps the energy going long after the sun sets, offering a lively contrast to the peaceful mountain views just outside.
With eight king bedrooms thoughtfully arranged throughout the cabin, everyone enjoys their own private retreat at the end of the day. Each room offers a calm, comfortable space to recharge, while five full bathrooms ensure convenience even for large groups. A sleeper sofa in the living area adds flexible sleeping space when needed.
Outside, the expansive deck becomes the heartbeat of the property. Morning coffee tastes better with the mountains unfolding in the distance, and evenings feel unforgettable as the sky shifts through shades of gold, pink, and deep blue over the ridgelines. Whether you’re gathered around the view, sharing laughter, or simply sitting in quiet appreciation, this is where memories naturally happen.
The location puts you exactly where you want to be—just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and all the dining, shopping, and attractions the area is known for. Adventure is always close, but so is the peace of coming back home to your own private mountain lodge.
Great Smoky View isn’t just about space—it’s about shared experience. It’s where groups come together, slow down, and realize the view is only part of what makes the stay unforgettable.

Bear Camp’s standard terms are strict — without Deposit Protection there is no refund and no reschedule, for any reason. Deposit Protection is added at booking, and it is what opens the cancellation window.
This cabin has four or more bedrooms, so the 4+ bedroom terms apply: cancel at least 60 days before arrival for a refund, or reschedule once if you ask at least 30 days before arrival. Inside 60 days the deposit is forfeited.
How this compares: the default terms here are stricter than a typical platform cancellation policy, so this is worth understanding before you book rather than after. What Deposit Protection adds that most strict policies elsewhere do not: a free reschedule.
You pay half when you book and the rest thirty days before check-in — the same date the reschedule window closes. Nothing is charged in between.
Deposit Protection has to be added at the time of booking. It cannot be added later, so if there is any chance your dates move, decide at checkout.
Property Protection covers accidental damage during your stay up to the tier you pick — $500, $1,000 or $2,500 of coverage.
It is not insurance for your trip; it covers the cabin. Deposit Protection, above, is the one that covers your dates.
For groups larger than one cabin can hold, we can coordinate multiple cabins in the same resort - same dates, same check-in experience, shared amenities.
Locally managed by Vantage Stays in partnership with Bear Camp Cabin Rentals, a family-owned Smoky Mountain management company. Housekeeping is our own staff, background-checked, and maintenance is an in-house crew rather than a subcontractor.
