The private indoor pool runs thirty-four feet along the bottom floor with a waterfall wall at one end and a hot tub on the deck outside it. There is a theater room on the main level, and a game room upstairs with foosball and shuffleboard. The whole west side is glass and open deck, looking across the ridges. Black Bear Ridge Resort, in Wears Valley close to Pigeon Forge, which adds seasonal access to the community's outdoor pool. Three levels, four parking spots. Walk in the door and you will be greeted by a wonderful open floor-plan that looks through to the two-story wall of windows taking in both the natural light, as well as the soaring mountain views.
The unique bark accents set the tone for the perfect mix of modern yet natural details that are found in the fixtures and furnishings throughout the cabin. Great care was taken to appoint the cabin with furnishings and décor that would elevate the modern, rustic luxury that makes this cabin special.
A huge benefit of a newly built cabin is that it was designed with your vacation in mind. The main level is open with the perfect flow to accommodate your entire family whether you are cooking, eating, or hanging out together.
The living area has an open dine-in kitchen with island seating for four, large dining table, living room with a fireplace and a large smart TV hanging above the wood mantel. There is also a roomy master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and bunk room and a full bath.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to whip up any treats, or even a full family meal for everyone to enjoy after spending the day exploring Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. It features real stone countertops, stainless appliances including a dishwasher, and a beverage center with a Keurig and 12c. coffee maker. The large dining table has seating for 9 with 4 more at the adjacent kitchen island, so everyone can enjoy meals together in one space.
The main living room has a soaring cathedral ceiling and fireplace with a large smart TV, 2 leather couches, and a leather chair that overlook the adjacent deck with seating and breathtaking Smoky Mountain Vista Views.
The spacious master bedroom on this level boasts the same amazing views as the living room from either the king-sized bed or the sitting area which is next to the fireplace with a 50" smart tv above and has a large en-suite private bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower and double vanity.
The second bedroom on this level is called the Bear Den. If features a charming custom-built twin over queen bunk bed and a smart HDTV and is decorated for your little cubs. There is also a bathroom adjacent to the bunk room with a full tub shower combo to make bath time a breeze.
Travel upstairs and you will find 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open gaming loft with a Twin sleeper sofa and another large smart TV.
In the Loft you can challenge each other to a friendly game of shuffleboard or perhaps beat your high score on an old-school arcade machine. There is also a foosball table and a smart HDTV with a queen-size pull-out sofa in this fun and fabulous loft.
Retire to either of the two large bedrooms on this level and you will be assured great sleep as ALL our beds, including the 2 on this level, feature a Jameson mattress (the same mattress manufacturer as all Marriott beds), memory foam toppers, and soft luxury linens! Both the upstairs bedrooms have new furniture, smart HDTVs, and ensuite baths with large tiled walk-in showers with one of the bedrooms having unparalleled views as well.
Step down into the lower level where fun is just beginning with a theater room, king size bedroom, indoor pool and patio with a hot tub on the deck.
Tucked away on the lower level is a spacious theater room complete with comfortable tiered theater seating for that ultimate cinema experience! The theater seating is made up of futons that can be pushed together to create an “ultra-sized” king bed that the kids absolutely love for making ultimate blanket forts or a deluxe sleepover spot. As if the theater room with its 70" Smart TV is not enough to keep you busy, enjoy hours of memory-making fun in the Private INDOOR POOL.
Nothing says I am on a luxury vacation like opening the large slider to reveal the mountain views from standing in your private indoor pool or from soaking in the hot tub on the adjacent deck. The indoor pool is heated for your comfort and has a waterfall feature making it both fun and relaxing. We also have plenty of seating for those who want to stay dry on the pool deck and the patio.
The bedroom on this level offers a king-sized bed with a comfortable bed featuring a Jameson mattress, memory foam topper, and soft luxury linens, mountain views, smart HDTV, and a jack-n-jill bathroom with a nice, tiled shower that connects with the hallway.
The Lodge is set into the hillside on a corner lot which is why it captures such amazing views. With that said, it is fortunate that all roads leading to the cabin are paved and well maintained. Another great feature of this Lodge is that it has ample, convenient parking for up to four vehicles that is adjacent to both the front door and the Park-style BBQ grill.
The cabin's spot in Black Bear Ridge Resort places it in a unique location of being at the northern edge of Wears Valley but also a short drive to all the attractions on the parkway and Gatlinburg. We love the juxtaposition this location offers.
Within 15 minutes of driving in one direction, you can feel lost in nature as you wind your way through spectacular tree-lined roads with old barns and grassy valleys around each turn. But choose the other direction and in under 15 minutes, you are in the heart of the lights and bold attractions that have made Pigeon Forge a destination.
We love that Black Bear Ridge Resort has an onsite wedding chapel complete with a spa, and a reception facility. We welcome guests to celebrate at the resort but do enforce our maximum occupancy and require events that happen at the cabin to be discussed and approved in advance.
Paradise Pool Lodge has also begun offering pool passes to our favorite outdoor pool at Honeysuckle Meadow for all our guests to enjoy. Honeysuckle Meadows is just a short drive from the cabin in Wears Valley.
We love Honeysuckle Meadows because it has a great, large pool and it also has an onsite deli and grill. It is wonderfully convenient to be able to order delicious food poolside making it a relaxing spot to spend the afternoon! Honeysuckle Meadow also has an onsite fishing pond that will be sure to keep the kids entertained if they need a break from swimming.

Bear Camp’s standard terms are strict — without Deposit Protection there is no refund and no reschedule, for any reason. Deposit Protection is added at booking, and it is what opens the cancellation window.
This cabin has four or more bedrooms, so the 4+ bedroom terms apply: cancel at least 60 days before arrival for a refund, or reschedule once if you ask at least 30 days before arrival. Inside 60 days the deposit is forfeited.
How this compares: the default terms here are stricter than a typical platform cancellation policy, so this is worth understanding before you book rather than after. What Deposit Protection adds that most strict policies elsewhere do not: a free reschedule.
You pay half when you book and the rest thirty days before check-in — the same date the reschedule window closes. Nothing is charged in between.
Deposit Protection has to be added at the time of booking. It cannot be added later, so if there is any chance your dates move, decide at checkout.
Property Protection covers accidental damage during your stay up to the tier you pick — $500, $1,000 or $2,500 of coverage.
It is not insurance for your trip; it covers the cabin. Deposit Protection, above, is the one that covers your dates.
