Christmas Done Bright brings the holidays to Winfield Dunn Parkway every day of the year. The company began as a family business in 1992 and grew into a large seller of outdoor Christmas lighting and displays, with a main office in Springfield, Tennessee, and a retail showroom in Sevierville. For guests driving between I-40 and the Parkway, it is an easy and cheerful stop, whether you are decorating a home back east or simply want to walk among the lights in July.
Inside, the showroom is filled with lighted outdoor pieces: LED Santas, angels, reindeer and snowmen, nativity scenes, lighted signs, trees and trains, plus animated displays and themed decor for fall, Halloween and Easter. Many pieces are large, professional-grade displays built for yards and storefronts, so prices vary widely, from small accents to statement pieces. The building itself is part of the fun: a 1975 structure with two minaret-style towers that has been home to several businesses, including an antique shop, before the Christmas store.
The showroom sits on the northbound side of State Route 66, a few miles south of the Tennessee Smokies stadium and I-40 Exit 407. It is open seven days a week from 9 AM to 5 PM, with extended hours in October and November, and winter hours can vary with the weather, so call ahead in January and February. Larger items can be shipped, which saves wrestling a lighted reindeer into the car.
