The Cosmic Pen Caricature Studio is a small, artist-owned business at The Island, and it offers one of the most personal souvenirs in Pigeon Forge: a portrait of your group drawn by hand, with plenty of personality and exaggeration. It is a lighthearted break between rides and shopping, and the result is something you will actually hang on the wall at home rather than tuck in a drawer.
Artists draw live digital caricatures while you sit, so the group can watch the portrait come together. If someone could not make the trip, or you want a surprise gift, the studio can also draw from photographs. Once the drawing is done, you can take it home as a print or on key chains and magnets, and frames are sold on site so the portrait survives the drive home.
The studio is located within The Island at 131 The Island Drive, where parking and admission to the district are free. Call the shop for current hours, pricing and wait times, especially on busy summer evenings and holiday weekends when The Island draws crowds. Allow extra time for larger groups, since each caricature is drawn by hand. Photo-based orders are a good way to include family members who are not on the trip.
