Many cabin guests bring the family dog to the Smokies, and that can make a full day at Dollywood tricky. Doggywood is the park's answer: a day kennel right beside Guest Services at Dollywood's front gate. Your dog stays secure and close by while you ride, eat and catch shows, and you can check in during the day without leaving the park area.
There are two types of space. Kennel runs measure 4 by 6 feet and cost $25 a day. Cottages measure about 5 by 5 feet and cost $35 a day, and the total weight of the dogs in one cottage must be 19 pounds or less. Additional dogs from the same household can share a space for $5 each. Water is supplied at no charge, and an enclosed walk area is available, though owners clean up after their pets and must bring food.
Doggywood accepts dogs only, and every dog must be up to date on rabies and Bordetella vaccines, with written proof from a veterinarian uploaded when you reserve. Space is limited, so booking ahead online is highly recommended. Drop-off opens 30 minutes before the park opens, and dogs must be picked up within 15 minutes of closing. Doggywood follows Dollywood's operating calendar and does not offer overnight boarding.
