The Mountain Monster is a 200-foot thrill-ride tower at The Mountain Mile complex in Pigeon Forge, combining three distinct attractions in a single steel structure that towers over the Parkway. Three separate rides operate from the tower. The Mountain Monster is an aerial dive that lifts two riders to the top and swings them out over the complex at speeds approaching 65 miles per hour. The Monster Fall is a freefall that slowly raises riders to the 200-foot summit for a panoramic view of the Pigeon Forge valley before dropping them. The Monster Launch seats two riders back-to-back and slingshots them roughly 175 feet straight up.
The Mountain Monster sits within The Mountain Mile, a shopping and entertainment district at the north end of Pigeon Forge that also includes restaurants, shops, and other attractions. Rides are typically open from early afternoon into the evening, and guests can purchase individual rides or combinations. Height and health restrictions apply, so check requirements before lining up.
