The Upper Pigeon River delivers genuine whitewater thrills with Class III-IV rapids including exciting drops and technical moves! This is real whitewater rafting with names like 'Razor Blade,' 'Double Drop,' and 'Boxcar' - you'll get wet and your heart will pump! The 5-mile trip runs during dam release times when water levels are ideal, typically late morning and afternoon. Minimum age is 8-12 years old depending on water levels. No experience necessary - NOC's expert guides will teach you everything you need to know. The trip takes about 1.5 hours on the water plus time for instruction. All equipment provided. Located about 45 minutes from Pigeon Forge in Hartford, TN. Reservations required!
