OutRyde rents street-legal UTVs from Sevierville, giving groups an open-air way to cover the scenic roads around Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains. Rather than a guided trail ride, this is a self-drive rental: you take the side-by-side for your reservation and set your own route. The company pairs its rentals with a Trails and Maps guide to the best nearby drives, which makes it easy for first-timers to plan a day.
The fleet includes a two-seat Polaris RZR XP1000 and four-seat options in both the RZR XP1000 and Can-Am Maverick, each with its own nickname and paint scheme. All have automatic transmissions. OutRyde's route guide suggests drives such as the 11-mile Cades Cove Loop, the 5.5-mile Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, Newfound Gap on US 441, Clingmans Dome and The Sinks, with estimated round-trip times for each. Well-behaved pets are welcome to ride along.
OutRyde is based at 515 Parkway in Sevierville and also offers delivery and pickup around Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville. Drivers must be at least 21 with a valid driver's license, and a $500 deposit is held and released when the UTV is returned. Reservations are strongly recommended on weekends, holidays and in peak season, and cancellations made at least 72 hours ahead receive a full refund. Check park road status before heading to high-elevation routes.
