Last reported Bigfoot sighting near Russell Field Trail in Great Smoky Mountains NP: On October 12, 2024, a hiker reported seeing a large, shadowy figure near the far edge of Russell Field just before dusk. The figure moved slowly through the meadow, disappearing into the tree line. No footprints or other evidence were found, but the witness remains convinced it was no ordinary animal.
