Sevier Smash Rage Room offers something the Parkway attractions do not: permission to break things. It describes itself as Sevierville's first and only rage room, built for birthday parties, team outings, couples looking for a different kind of date night, and anyone who simply wants to swing a bat at a stack of dishes. It is an indoor, weather-proof plan that takes well under an hour, which makes it easy to slot into an evening.
Sessions are built around a tote of breakables. Micro Stressed gives you 12 items and 15 minutes, a good start for first-timers, while Mega Stressed, the most popular session, doubles it to 24 items and 25 minutes. Every session includes full safety gear, a table, a batting tee and an assortment of weapons. The Car Smash sets you loose on a real car with sledgehammers for 15 minutes. Add-ons such as small and large TVs, printers, microwaves and furniture can be added to any booking.
The rage room is at 982 Eastgate Road, just off Dolly Parton Parkway in Sevierville, and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 4 to 9 PM. Book online to hold a time, although walk-ins are welcome when space allows. Arrive 10 minutes early to sign a waiver and suit up. Closed-toe shoes are required; Crocs, slides and sandals are not permitted. Parties of six or more unlock a group discount.
