Shannon's Deliveries: Grocery Delivery and Cabin Stocking

About

Shannon's Deliveries is a one-woman personal shopping service based in Newport, and it is one of the easier ways to arrive at a Smokies cabin with the refrigerator already full. Rather than a warehouse app with rotating drivers, you work with Shannon Amos directly: she picks the produce, reads the labels and brings the order to the door. For families who would rather spend the first evening on the porch than in a grocery store line, it takes a chore off the list.

Orders go through the Dumpling app, where you build a list of exactly what you want. Shannon then shops local stores and delivers. Her service area covers Newport, Cosby, Hartford, Parrottsville, Del Rio and other Cocke County communities, plus Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg in Sevier County. Cabin and vacation rental stocking is a core service, and alcohol can be added to a cabin stocking order where it is lawful, with ID verification at delivery. She also runs hot food deliveries.

Plan ahead for a cabin stocking order so your groceries can be in place close to check-in, and confirm timing and any access instructions with Shannon directly by phone. Delivery within Newport carries a small flat fee, and pricing for Sevier County cabin runs is set per order, so ask when you book. There is no storefront to visit. Everything is arranged through the app or by calling the business line, and the business is a member of the local chamber of commerce.
