Six king bedrooms, two to a floor, plus a queen sleeper in a lower bedroom, another in the game loft and a futon downstairs — eighteen guests. Four full baths serve all six bedrooms, three of them with jacuzzi tubs. The lower level is a full game room: pool table, shuffleboard, foosball, two arcade cabinets, and a theater room next door. Screened porch, hot tub, wooded on all sides in Hickory Hollow. The pool is the community's — outdoors and seasonal — along with a catch-and-release fishing pond. Parking for four. No pets.
“Bears Britches” is a spacious, beautifully updated Smoky Mountain retreat tucked into the quiet setting of Hickory Hollow Estate in Wears Valley—where the forest feels close, the air feels still, and every part of your stay is designed for comfort, connection, and ease.
Just minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and a short drive to the attractions of Pigeon Forge, this cabin gives you the rare balance of peaceful seclusion with adventure right nearby. Whether you’re hiking trails, visiting Dollywood, or stopping for a coffee at nearby local spots, you always return to a space that feels like home.
Inside, the main level opens into a warm, light-filled gathering space with soaring ceilings, a stone fireplace, and large windows that bring the Tennessee landscape right into the room. Comfortable seating invites everyone to settle in together—whether it’s movie night, morning coffee, or quiet conversation after a full day in the mountains.
The kitchen is designed for shared meals and easy connection, with stainless steel appliances, generous counter space, and a large granite bar for casual bites and conversation. Two dining tables ensure everyone has a place to gather, making meals feel relaxed and unhurried. This level also includes two King bedrooms with flat-screen TVs and a shared bathroom, offering convenience without sacrificing comfort.
Upstairs, the loft becomes a playful, relaxed hangout space overlooking the main living area. Games like foosball and darts bring a fun, easy energy, while cozy seating gives guests a quiet place to unwind. Two additional King suites on this level offer private bathrooms with jetted tubs—perfect for slowing down and soaking in the moment.
Downstairs, the cabin turns into a full entertainment retreat. A game room features a pool table, arcade machines, shuffleboard, and a large TV—creating a natural gathering spot for laughter and late-night fun. A kitchenette adds extra convenience for snacks and drinks, while a private theater room just off the space makes movie nights feel like an event.
This level also includes additional King bedrooms, offering plenty of space for large groups to spread out comfortably. Step outside to the screened-in porch where a brand-new hot tub waits—warm, quiet, and surrounded by trees.
With room for up to eighteen guests, “Bears Britches” blends mountain charm with modern comfort, offering a stay that feels both spacious and intimate. It’s the kind of place where mornings are slow, evenings are full of laughter, and every stay becomes a collection of memories worth holding onto.

Bear Camp’s standard terms are strict — without Deposit Protection there is no refund and no reschedule, for any reason. Deposit Protection is added at booking, and it is what opens the cancellation window.
This cabin has four or more bedrooms, so the 4+ bedroom terms apply: cancel at least 60 days before arrival for a refund, or reschedule once if you ask at least 30 days before arrival. Inside 60 days the deposit is forfeited.
How this compares: the default terms here are stricter than a typical platform cancellation policy, so this is worth understanding before you book rather than after. What Deposit Protection adds that most strict policies elsewhere do not: a free reschedule.
You pay half when you book and the rest thirty days before check-in — the same date the reschedule window closes. Nothing is charged in between.
Deposit Protection has to be added at the time of booking. It cannot be added later, so if there is any chance your dates move, decide at checkout.
Property Protection covers accidental damage during your stay up to the tier you pick — $500, $1,000 or $2,500 of coverage.
It is not insurance for your trip; it covers the cabin. Deposit Protection, above, is the one that covers your dates.
For groups larger than one cabin can hold, we can coordinate multiple cabins in the same resort - same dates, same check-in experience, shared amenities.
