Three kings, two queens, a queen-over-queen bunk and a twin bunk — sixteen guests in six bedrooms, with three full bathrooms between them, so mornings take some planning. Downstairs is a game room with a full-size pool table, foosball and an arcade cabinet; out back, a kids' clubhouse built into the porch, a hot tub and porch swings in the trees. Chalet Village in Gatlinburg brings seasonal access to the community's outdoor pools, workout room, game room and basketball court. Level parking for three. There is no pool at the cabin itself, and no pets.
Tucked into the peaceful heights of Chalet Village in Gatlinburg, Dancing Bear Lodge is not your typical mountain cabin—it’s a striking octagon-shaped retreat designed for connection, comfort, and unforgettable Smoky Mountain memories. With space for up to 16 guests, this 6-bedroom, 3-bath lodge blends rustic character with fun-filled gathering spaces and sweeping mountain views.
From the moment you arrive, the setting feels special—quiet wooded surroundings, crisp mountain air, and a sprawling half-wraparound porch that invites you to slow down and stay awhile. Step outside with your morning coffee or unwind in the hot tub as the sun sets behind the ridgeline.
Inside, the lodge opens into a warm, inviting living space where the electric fireplace sets the tone for cozy nights in. The fully equipped kitchen and large dining area (seating for 12) make it easy to gather everyone for meals, games, and late-night conversations that stretch long after dinner ends.
The main level keeps everyone close while still offering plenty of space to spread out. Four king bedrooms line this floor, each with its own TV and easy access to shared baths—perfect for groups who want comfort and convenience without sacrificing together time.
Downstairs, the energy shifts to pure entertainment. A game-filled hangout space brings everyone together with a pool table, foosball, and arcade games, while additional bedrooms—including a queen room and a bunk room designed for kids or teens—create a fun, relaxed sleepover-style atmosphere.
Step out back and discover one of the lodge’s most unique features: a kids’ clubhouse tucked onto the porch, giving younger guests their own little mountain hideaway while adults relax nearby. Between the hot tub, fresh mountain air, and plenty of outdoor seating, this is where evenings naturally slow down.
As a guest of Chalet Village, you’ll also enjoy seasonal access to community pools, a fitness center, and recreation areas—adding even more ways to enjoy your stay when you’re not exploring nearby Gatlinburg, Ober Mountain, or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Dancing Bear Lodge isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to gather, unwind, and experience the mountains together in a way that feels both fun and unforgettable.

Bear Camp’s standard terms are strict — without Deposit Protection there is no refund and no reschedule, for any reason. Deposit Protection is added at booking, and it is what opens the cancellation window.
This cabin has four or more bedrooms, so the 4+ bedroom terms apply: cancel at least 60 days before arrival for a refund, or reschedule once if you ask at least 30 days before arrival. Inside 60 days the deposit is forfeited.
How this compares: the default terms here are stricter than a typical platform cancellation policy, so this is worth understanding before you book rather than after. What Deposit Protection adds that most strict policies elsewhere do not: a free reschedule.
You pay half when you book and the rest thirty days before check-in — the same date the reschedule window closes. Nothing is charged in between.
Deposit Protection has to be added at the time of booking. It cannot be added later, so if there is any chance your dates move, decide at checkout.
Property Protection covers accidental damage during your stay up to the tier you pick — $500, $1,000 or $2,500 of coverage.
It is not insurance for your trip; it covers the cabin. Deposit Protection, above, is the one that covers your dates.
For groups larger than one cabin can hold, we can coordinate multiple cabins in the same resort - same dates, same check-in experience, shared amenities.
