From the moment you arrive at Top Notch Lodge, the mountains set the tone—expansive views, fresh air, and a sense that time slows down just enough for everyone to reconnect. Tucked within Sherwood Forest Resort and minutes from Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this is where elevated comfort meets meaningful time together.
Mornings begin slowly—coffee in hand on the deck as the mountains wake around you. Inside, the heart of the home draws everyone in: a spacious, open living area where conversations flow from the gourmet kitchen to the dining table and into the cozy glow of the fireplace. It’s a space made for shared meals, laughter, and those moments you don’t want to rush.
As the day unfolds, the lodge offers something for everyone. Head upstairs for friendly competition in the game room, where kids and adults alike gather for hours of fun, with drinks and snacks never far thanks to the wet bar. Quiet corners and private suites give you space to recharge before the next round of memories begins.
Downstairs, the experience becomes unforgettable. The indoor heated pool turns any afternoon into a private retreat, while evenings are made for soaking in the hot tub under the stars or settling in together for a movie night in your own theater room. During warmer days, Head down to the resort’s seasonal outdoor pool, adding even more ways to relax and enjoy the setting.
With multiple levels, expansive decks, and room for up to 19 guests, Top Notch Lodge isn’t just a place to stay—it’s where families gather, traditions begin, and every moment feels just a little more special.

Bear Camp’s standard terms are strict — without Deposit Protection there is no refund and no reschedule, for any reason. Deposit Protection is added at booking, and it is what opens the cancellation window.
This cabin has four or more bedrooms, so the 4+ bedroom terms apply: cancel at least 60 days before arrival for a refund, or reschedule once if you ask at least 30 days before arrival. Inside 60 days the deposit is forfeited.
How this compares: the default terms here are stricter than a typical platform cancellation policy, so this is worth understanding before you book rather than after. What Deposit Protection adds that most strict policies elsewhere do not: a free reschedule.
You pay half when you book and the rest thirty days before check-in — the same date the reschedule window closes. Nothing is charged in between.
Deposit Protection has to be added at the time of booking. It cannot be added later, so if there is any chance your dates move, decide at checkout.
Property Protection covers accidental damage during your stay up to the tier you pick — $500, $1,000 or $2,500 of coverage.
It is not insurance for your trip; it covers the cabin. Deposit Protection, above, is the one that covers your dates.
For groups larger than one cabin can hold, we can coordinate multiple cabins in the same resort - same dates, same check-in experience, shared amenities.
